Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Relationship, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account.

Relationship is designed for two linked partners. You may only link with someone who consents by accepting your invite. You're responsible for the content you share with a linked partner. Linking is reversible via unlinking; deletion ends the link.

You own your content. You grant us the limited right to store and display it to you and your linked partner as needed to run the service. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, or is harmful. We may remove content that violates these terms.

Premium is offered as Monthly and Yearly plans. On the web, purchases are processed by Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). On native iOS, where required, billing uses Apple App Store; on native Android, Google Play Billing or an officially permitted alternative — under the respective store's terms.

Recurring plans renew automatically until canceled. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current paid period; you keep access until the period ends.

No Lifetime plan is offered. When a Premium subscription ends, your account returns to Free. We do not delete your content on downgrade: Premium-only views become locked and Free creation limits apply to new items, but existing reflections, goals, wishlist items, memories, and records remain safely stored and become accessible again if you resubscribe.

Date-night "snacks" and cheer gifts are virtual items for in-app expression. Free items apply instantly. Paid items are processed as one-time purchases and are non-refundable except where required by law or the applicable store's policy.

You control notification channels (in-app, email, push) and categories in Settings, including quiet hours. We only send what you enable. Partner-activity and support notifications are consent-based; support signals never reveal raw mood data. Essential privacy and notification opt-out controls are available to all users regardless of subscription.

You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time. Refunds, where applicable, follow the rules of the payment provider (Wix, Apple, or Google). We do not issue refunds outside of provider policies except where legally required.

You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. See the Delete Account page for what's removed and what's retained.

You agree not to misuse the service, including: harassing others, attempting to access data that isn't yours, circumventing premium or payment controls, reverse-engineering, or introducing malware. Premium and payment state are enforced server-side; tampering with client state does not grant access.

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.

Relationship is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don't guarantee specific relationship outcomes. The app is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or where no purchase was made, to nominal damages.

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be highlighted where feasible.

The Relationship name, branding, and software are owned by us. You keep ownership of your content and grant us only the limited license needed to run the service as described above.

You can stop using Relationship and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the service.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your content.

Any disputes will be resolved as permitted by law. Governing law and jurisdiction are subject to the official business information below once finalized.
