How to delete your Relationship account and what happens to your data
Effective August 20, 2026
If you're logged in: go to Settings → Account → Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
If you can no longer log in (for example, you lost access to your email), you can request deletion by contacting us through the support channel listed in your app store listing and verifying your identity.
Scheduled notifications stop and your push/email subscriptions are removed, so a deleted account receives no further notifications.
Deleting your account dissolves the couple link and revokes your access to shared records, but it does not delete content that belongs exclusively to your partner. Your partner keeps their own reflections, Spec Sheet, MBTI, memories, and other creator-owned data. Shared records you created (e.g. love notes you sent) may be removed or retained per the unlinking rules so that your private content is cleared while your partner's data is preserved.
If you have an active recurring Premium subscription, we attempt to cancel future renewals as part of deletion. You keep Premium access through any paid period you've already paid for, after which it ends. Lifetime access, once verified, remains until your account is deleted.
A minimal record of payments (plan, status, and provider transaction identifiers) is retained as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, chargeback, refund, and fraud-prevention purposes. Unnecessary personal relationship information is detached where appropriate.
Database references to images you uploaded are removed. Immediate physical deletion of the underlying stored files depends on the file-storage capabilities of the Base44 platform; where not supported, files may be retained by the infrastructure for a limited period.
We delete your Relationship account and revoke your active session so deleted credentials can't continue accessing the app.
